Bribie Community Help Transport
We receive funding from CHSP and QCC to assist eligible clients with transport to enable them to remain independent and socially active.
People who utilise this Service would generally experience difficulty safely accessing public transport, or who no longer drive or have limited or no other transport options.
This service does require a client contribution towards the cost of each trip.
Our Destinations
Our Transport Service operates an off-island transport for medical appointments, visiting or social outings to Caboolture, Redcliffe, Northlakes and the northern suburbs of Brisbane (along the Gympie Road corridor) and limited transport to South Brisbane and West Brisbane medical facilities.
Social Outings
We also provide transport for social outings to:
- Morayfield Shopping Centre
- any day of the week - Northlakes Shopping Centre
- each Thursday - Chermside Shopping Centre
- first Friday of each month
These services are designed for a social outing and some light shopping (hand-held items only).
Visiting Family or Friends
You can visit family or friends in a hospital or care facility within our transport corridor. This is subject to available seating as clients with medical appointments do take priority.
Weekly Concessions
If you need to attend appointments, visit a hospital or care facility for 3 or more times in a week (Mon-Fri), you may be eligible for a concessional fare. Please call and talk to our friendly office staff to see if you qualify.
Book your Seat Early
We operate Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and a minimum of three (3) working days notice is required for a booking. We can take bookings up to two (2) weeks in advance and we recommend you call the working day before your appointment to confirm your booking and pick-up time.
We have 9 mini-buses in our fleet but bookings are taken on a first come, first serve basis, so book early to avoid disappointment.
It's a Shared Transport System
We are shared transport provider, therefore we cannot operate a one-on-one service and some client may experience a short delay before their return journey home after completing their appointment or visit.
Earliest Arrival & Latest Departure Times
Our times are based on normal traffic conditions. We are unable to guarantee any times as there are many situations which are out of our control. Most day we do have multiple buses going to all destinations.

- earliest arrival is 8.00am
- latest departure is 2.30pm. - Redcliffe and Northlakes area
- earliest arrival is 8.45am
- latest departure is 2.00pm. - Brisbane - Southside
- earliest arrival is 9:30am
- latest departure is 2.00pm. - Brisbane - Northside
- earliest arrival is 8:30am
- latest departure is 2.30pm.
Taking a Carer, Friend or Escort
Sometimes you may need an escort or carer to accompany you on a journey.
A Carer is someone who provides essential support for you, such as assisting in and out of the vehicle, pushing a wheelchair, handling medication or providing dementia related assistance etc.
Please advise us when booking your transport that you will be taking a Carer.
Do you Use Taxis?
If you need island only transport and currently use taxis but are not eligible for the Queensland Transport Taxis Subsidy Scheme, please call and talk to us. We have a local taxis subsidy scheme which may assist (conditions and eligibility criteria do apply).
